TWIA NORTH EAST WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS OF THE YEAR!
This year has been absolutely incredible for us. After the unbelievable journey that was 2014 we were pretty much convinced that last year was going to be unbeatable but we were wrong. We may have been in the industry for 10 years but in many respects this feels like our first, opening our eyes just that little bit wider to the kind of images that we want to shoot, being fully comfortable with our work and feeling truly free to shoot in a style that is our own.
2015 started for us in New York with an inspirational street photography workshop from legendary Magnum photographer Alex Webb and it is has been all go since then, hitting the streets of the big apple, Amsterdam, Rome, London and Manchester and shooting some incredible weddings up and down the country searching for those perfect moments to capture. It’s been an extraordinary adventure so far and 2015 is still far from over…
Our Best of The Year is going to be a little late this year as we have five weddings in December so we are taking this opportunity to share a few of our favourite frames of the year so far whilst sharing some exciting news… we got a huge surprise yesterday: we won the Wedding Industry Awards North East Wedding Photographer of the Year! We were in the middle of a meeting at the time when suddenly our phones started buzzing away with social media going crazy and we can’t thank everyone enough for their support and good wishes and of course our awesome couples for voting for us and giving us the trust and freedom to capture their memories in our own unique style.
