Capturing the Spirit, Tradition & Chaos of your Simcha

Experienced Photographers of Jewish Weddings

Jewish weddings are steeped in beautiful, ancient traditions. But while the script of the day might follow a pattern, the feeling of it never does.

We cater to couples who want a complete record of their day—one that respects the rituals but refuses to be limited by them. You book us because you know we understand the flow of the Tisch and the sanctity of the Bedeken, and you trust us to capture them perfectly. But because we know the traditions inside out, we have the confidence to go further.

We have the skill to capture the defining moment—like the smashing of the glass under the Chuppah—and immediately find the additional, alternate perspective that tells the fuller story. We capture the ritual, yes, but we also capture the whispered joke between parents in the front row, the chaotic joy of the Israeli dancing, and the sheer humanity of the party. It is about having the standard coverage you expect, plus all the unscripted atmosphere in between.

Always at the beating heart of the action...

Our photographs & films place you back at the centre of your day - not looking in from the outside but right where the action takes place. Whilst our style is to be as discrete as possible, we like to get our cameras in amongst the guests so that when you look back at your wedding photographs or videos you feel like you're right back there in that moment. So when the drinks are being handed out we're right there with you, when you stand beneath the Huppah we'll ensure we're not a distraction but get close enough to give the family's perspective of that moment. And when it comes to the dancing, we'll be inches from those chairs in the air, and flying grooms, jostling and joining in with the most exuberant dancing of any party you'll ever experience.

The Full Narrative

The Anticipation (Tisch & Bedeken)

We use the structure of these moments to build a layered story. We capture the central action of the Groom’s reception, but we simultaneously hunt for the interactions on the periphery—the nervous glances and the "seemingly insignificant" moments that add context and depth to the tradition.

The Ceremony (Chuppah)

We respect the ceremony implicitly. We don't stage or interrupt; we let the weight of the moment speak for itself. We ensure the key ceremonial beats are captured, but our eyes are always scanning for the unposed, genuine reactions of your family that give those moments emotional weight.

The Party (Traditional Dancing)

To truly capture the wild energy of the Hora, you can't just stand on the sidelines. Our approach to Israeli dancing is immersive. We capture the spectacle of the circle, but we also dive right into the middle of the action, capturing the sweat, the motion, and the visceral energy of the celebration from the inside out. It’s about delivering photographs that don’t just show the party, but make you feel like you are back on the dancefloor.

Photo & Video - One Family Team

Because we operate as a seamless family team, we have a luxury that solo photographers don't: the freedom to explore.

With two lead photographers (Dom & Liam) always shooting together, one of us ensures the key ceremonial moments are perfectly framed, leaving the other free to roam—hunting for the off-beat, artistic, and candid moments that happen when nobody thinks the camera is looking.

This intuitive dynamic extends to our filmmaking. Whether capturing photos or video, we move as one unit—anticipating each other's next move without needing to speak. It’s this unique combination of reliability and artistic freedom that allows us to deliver a gallery and film that feels completely distinct.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. We understand the flow of the day implicitly—from the Tisch and Bedeken to the Chuppah and Yichud. We use this knowledge to ensure every key moment is captured, while also hunting for the unscripted interactions that happen within the traditions.

We love the energy of the Hora! Our style is immersive—we get close to the action to make the viewer feel like they are inside the dance, but we are experienced enough to move with the flow of the crowd so we never interrupt the party.

Absolutely. This is where our close-knit team structure truly shines. We split up to cover the Groom’s Tisch and the Bride’s preparations simultaneously.

Plus, because Dom is a skilled hybrid shooter, she can seamlessly step in to capture video clips alongside her photography. This means that even if our main videographer is capturing the raucous energy of the Tisch, Dom can ensure the Bride’s side of the story is still captured beautifully in film as well as photography.

Yes (if you want them), but without pausing the party …

We are more than happy to take formal family records if you want them, but we don’t let them interrupt the flow of your day.

The biggest advantage of our two-photographer team is that we don’t stop looking for moments just because group shots are happening. While one of us efficiently manages the formal portraits, the other continues to roam the reception, capturing the candid laughter and interactions happening just out of frame. You get the family records you need, but the documentary coverage never stops.

Yes, we apply the same unposed, documentary storytelling approach to Bar and Bat Mitzvahs. We capture the personality of your child and the energy of the party, creating a cool, modern record of the day.

Yes, and for a fast-paced Simcha, it’s a game-changer. Because the action moves so quickly (especially during the dancing), independent photo and video teams can often end up blocking each other’s shots. As a unified family team, we move around each other instinctively, ensuring you get incredible coverage in both formats without ever feeling crowded.
