Wedfest - The Greatest Festival of Your Lives
Access All Areas: Unscripted Coverage for the Ultimate Weekender.
A festival wedding isn't just a ceremony; it's a state of mind. It’s wristbands, food trucks, glamping villages, and a timeline that stretches over a whole weekend. It’s about ditching the rulebook and creating an event that feels more like Glastonbury than a traditional wedding.
This kind of chaos is our playground. With so much happening across the site—from the acoustic set in the woods to the late-night silent disco—you need a team that can keep up. We don't just capture the main stage; we roam the entire festival site to tell the full, unscripted story of your 'Wedfest'.

The Full Weekend Experience

Festival weddings rarely fit into a neat 10-hour box. They are living, breathing events that evolve from the Friday night campfire to the Sunday morning hangover brunch.

Roam Free: We treat your wedding like a documentary assignment. We aren't glued to the couple; we explore the fringes of the festival, capturing kids playing in the long grass, guests building human pyramids, and the sunset over the glamping field.

No Curfews: When the bands finish and the silent disco headphones go on, we don't pack up. We love the surreal, high-energy visuals of a silent disco and the intimacy of late-night fire pit conversations.

A discrete, unintrusive, relaxed photo & video team

At York Place we're all family and know how each other think. Whether you're looking for festival wedding photography, videography or both, we have the same, unified style and approach. We love to capture both the huge moments where you find yourself carried across the dancefloor on the shoulders of your groomsmen, and also the tiny, discrete frames of people just being themselves. To do that we love to blend in with your guests, using compact equipment and a gentle, friendly approach to make sure that everyone can just forget about the cameras and have an incredible time.
Knowing and trusting each other so well, we work as a team to ensure that your guests are never crowded and we're not all going after the exact same shot. We know what will work best in a photo and what will work better in film so switch our priorities accordingly, ensuring you get the most out of both your photographs and your video. Our festival photographs and films are all about showing you and your guests living that care-free spirit and capturing the atmosphere to create imagery that truly feels like the memory of what it was like to be there.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, absolutely. Most of our festival couples book us for extended coverage or multiple days. We can be there to capture the Friday night welcome drinks or the Sunday morning recovery session to tell the complete story of the weekend.

We are active photographers! We don’t just stand by the bar. We constantly loop the site—checking the glamping village, the food trucks, and the main tent—ensuring we capture the “fringe events” as well as the main action.

Glastonbury has mud; your wedding might too! We embrace it. Umbrellas, wellies, and huddled conversations under gazebos often make for the most characterful and memorable photos. We are fully weather-sealed and happy to shoot in any conditions.

This is our absolute specialty. While many photographers stay glued to the couple, our ‘street-documentary’ style is built on capturing the energy of the crowd. We actively hunt for the unscripted stories happening on the fringes—the campsite banter, the games, and the laughter—capturing the true festival atmosphere that you worked so hard to create

Absolutely. If you are planning a silent disco, we love them! They are visually surreal and incredibly fun to photograph. We get right into the middle of the dancefloor to capture the bad singing, the glowing headphones, and the electric atmosphere of the crowd.

Completely. Festival weddings often run late or have surprise sets. We don’t need a rigid schedule; we just follow the energy of the day (and night) wherever it leads.
