Paris Street Photography with The Fuji X-T1

Last weekend I had a short holiday in Paris and Dominique kindly loaned me her new Fuji X-T1 to have a play with whilst I was out there. I already own a Fuji X100 and find that its size and weight allows me to take it everywhere and am a big fan of its style and just how discreet it is. Dominique had already used The X-T1 at a couple of weddings this year and raved about its capabilities so I was intrigued to try it out and to see how it would perform as an everyday travel camera.

Like the Fuji X100 I love the old-school layout of the X-T1. The intuitive, analogue-style controls of the Fuji lend themselves to a slower, more considered approach to each shot and are really fun to use. I also love the film-like colours and tones that this camera creates, they are really great ‘out of the can’ and only needed minor tweaking, if anything at all!

Above are some photographs I took out and about on the streets of Paris. Dom and I will do a more in depth review of the camera and its capabilities in the coming weeks!
