We always love shooting in London. The whole York Place team have a long-held love of street photography and the city streets are the perfect backdrop for both our photography and videography. So lucky for us Hadar and Dan’s London wedding spilled onto the streets quite literally!
Hadar & Dan’s wedding was the ultimate laid-back affair. As Hadar arrived for the ceremony and stepped out of the classic London black cab, sunglasses on, cigarette in hand and a gorgeous understated white dress completing the ensemble she looked the epitome of cool, and so both she and Dan proved to be! The main ceremony took place at one of our favourite venues – Islington Town Hall but, with Hadar wanting to include a touch of her Jewish heritage, the bus to the reception diverted ever so slightly for a surprise impromptu Jewish ceremony under a makeshift Chuppah on a hilltop overlooking the London skyline. Then it was back to Hackney for a super-relaxed pub reception that perfectly befitted the couple’s personalities.
Hadar & Dan are two free-souls and true originals and this was what their version of a wedding looks like.
