Raven Hall Country House Hotel
Raven Hall Country House Hotel is a venue that we have visited numerous times over the seven happy years Liam and I have been photographing weddings together. It is a venue that couples flock from all over the country to visit, and a place that so many of those visitors simply fall in love with and choose as the perfect place to stand before their friends and family and declare their desire to spend the rest of their lives together. Buckinghamshire couple Lynn and Richard chose Raven Hall Country House Hotel as our bride held dear to her heart so many happy memories of holidaying here with her family and it was actually here in the Ravenscar area that they met for the first time as school children. Their friendship had been cut short however, both taking separate paths in life after school and it was only a chance meeting that brought the two back together. This time it was special however, this time it was love.
The wedding was planned to perfection by our gorgeous bride and with the always amazing Helen Guy on hair and makeup duties and with beautiful flower arrangements created by Daisy Dots, the wedding preparations were in the safe hands of a Yorkshire dream-team! The wedding was such a fun and lively event and from beginning to end I honestly don’t think we, our joyous bride and groom, the adorable bridesmaids or any of the guests ever stopped laughing. From the hilarious game of Bingo, the cat masks, the MC Hammer impersonator, the smart and witty comments from the young bridesmaids and their frankly amazing “Let’s get Ready to Rumble Dance” alongside just the funniest jazz band, the wedding day was simply glorious from start to finish.
Our couple found us through the divine wedding blog “Love My Dress” and we were so pleased that they did as we couldn’t imagine finding a more joyful place to be on that incredible day. We always say that weddings are about the people and the stories and this wedding had so many wonderful characters it was truly a delight to document their special day.
