It is truly impossible to describe how wonderful Kristina and Chris’s wedding at Malcesine Castle, Lake Garda was. From the instant I walked into the gorgeous, immaculate bridal suite I knew it was going to be a spectacular day. When Kristina swung her chair around to greet me and beamed brightly I was taken back by the radiance of the bride in front of me. This was going to be Kristina and Chris’s perfect day and I couldn’t wait to photograph it!
The wedding was to take place at the picturesque and truly stunning Malcesine Castle overlooking the grand, deepest blue waterfront of the beautiful Lake Garda, an immaculate setting for a truly special day. The transport arrived in the form of a classic, exquisite silver Bentley for the Bride and Groom and, for the guests, a fine cruise boat to whisk them away across the waters to the most glorious location; a Michelin Star Italian restaurant set in the heart of the breathtaking mountains overlooking the lake. As the sun gently dipped behind the watery horizon the triumphant couple emerged at last, beeping the old car’s horn as they climbed the winding mountain roads to greet their guests and enjoy the rest of the festivities. It was a glorious evening filled with hilarious and moving speeches, great food, a giant wedding cake and, as Bride and Groom clinked their glasses together in a toast, dramatic fireworks whizzing and banging, illuminating the sky to the delight of all the guests. And, in this unbelievable setting, under romantic moonlight and star-filled sky, the couple sealed their marriage with a kiss ready to share a lifetime of happiness and incredible memories together.
