We loved returning to Dublin to speak at our favourite documentary photography conference. The conference promotes only reportage photography and it is wonderful to speak and spend time with like minded photographers. Since speaking in 2022 the event has grown and grown and this time we were speaking in front of a cinema full of photographers!

Limitless Workshop, Bali

One of the highlights of our speaking career so far has been speaking in Bali, Indonesia. We presented an all day workshop with a group of very talented photographers (who had humblingly travelled as far as Japan, New Zealand and Australia to see us!) After our presentation we all went out to the beach to continue the learning on location.

A real perk of writing a book is the fact that people across the globe would like it signed either they ask us when they purchase from our online shop or when they see us at conferences and events.

The first conference we ever spoke at back in 2017 at the Delphi Film Palace in Berlin. Presenting in front of an entire cinema of wedding photographers.

Oaxaca, Mexico Workshop

In 2019 we went to Oaxaca, Mexico to photograph the famous Calle de Los Muertos Day Of the Dead and were given by Fujifilm a prototype of the X-Pro3 to try out. Towards the end of the trip we also hosted our very first Mexican workshop and it was a humbling experience to have this opportunity, we absolutely love teaching and to get the chance to educate people halfway across the world in such a beautiful, vibrant city was a treat for us for sure.

We went to Sri Lanka in 2017 to create street photography with the Fujifilm X-Pro2. We were still at the intial stages of developing our wedding street photography style and we wanted to spend a few weeks playing with the camera, challenging ideas and getting some new photos for our porfolio.

They defy convention when it comes to their wedding work. Their aim is to show what it actually felt like to be at a particular wedding." We have spoken at countless Fujifilm events as X Photographers and before and after. These events take place at amateur and professional photography conferences and range from a small group of people to hundreds. we often have the same people come to see us countless times which is great to see.

In Public Street Collective

We got selected by Graciela Magnoni in the prestigious Street Photo Collective. Graciela comments were "brilliant candid shots with lots of layers, colours and humour. Lots of fun shots, very refreshing".

Fundy Workshop Event

Alongside Scott Johnson (a fellow wedding photographer and Fundy Ambassador) Dominique ran a Fundy workshop sharing her ideas and concepts on photography with a practical street workshop at Fujifilm's House of Photography and the streets of London.

Top 25 Women in Photography by Fujifilm

Dominique was delighted to be picked as one of the top 25 women in photography (not just weddings!) by Fujifilm. They said the photos were funny, smart, heartfelt and touching. It was a really lovely honour.

United Kingdom’s Top Fearless Wedding Photographer

Fearless has an international reputation for celebrating extraordinary wedding images that break the norm. A highly curated competition, only around 1-3% of entries come away with Fearless Awards (about 150 photos out of typically around 10,000 entries) so we were delighted that as a team we won 7 and with Liam winning 4 of those that made him the Best UK Wedding Photographer

Rangefinder Photography Annual First Place Winner

We have some very exciting news to share today as we recently found out that we were a Rangefinder Photography Annual First Place Winner with Liam’ s gorgeous photo “The Snow Bride”! The work will be featured in a gallery exhibition at the WPPI Conference & Expo taking place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

We have won countless awards over the years from the Wedding Photo Journalist Association, the interesting part of this competition is the fact that the work has to have been made from the year you enter so ensures the award winning images are your present portfolio and is strictly documentary photography.

Masters of Wedding Photography

Masters of Wedding Photography is an international competition celebrating wedding photography of all styles and genre and different countries or areas each have their own awards. Liam was recently honoured to be asked to judge the German, Austria and Switzerland version and we decided shortly after to join the UK and Ireland edition. We were very happy to discover today that our first entry into the competition won (an apparently record breaking!) 15 awards, putting us in first place in Round 1 of the 2020-2021 super season.

BODAF Photography Conference

We were extremely proud to be asked to speak at the biggest international wedding photography conference in Europe. Being asked to speak at BODAF's conference in Barcelona was incredibly humbling. Scott interviewed us on his highly successful podcast "Photographers Keeping it Real" about our new book "Is This Something?" We also discuss what it was like to work as a duo, our trademark wedding street photography style, showing what you want to shoot and attracting ideal clients.

Residency of the North & South

Being an ambassador for Digitalab means that we get to try out new products before they are available to the public, we help to develop new ideas with the team and we speak at events! We have spoken at two events for Digitalab, Residency of the North and South.

Photographing Nothing

Back in 2020 we did a free Nine Dots event for people to watch about "Photographing Nothing". It reached over 4000 people and was a huge success. That presentation was the catalyst of creating our international selling book "Is This Something?"

Doc Day

We loved our first Doc Day conference in Dublin. We premiered our new talk "Is This Something?" and we had great feedback on it from the attendees. We also announced that our new book was coming soon!
