NUTTERS HOTEL RESTAURANT – MANCHESTER WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
Nutters hotel restaurant in Manchester is a perfect place for wedding photography. Nutters is set in Wolstenholme Hall which was built as a private gothic-style manor house in 1850 by George Goodwin of Staffordshire. It was built from Staffordshire brick and set in six and a half acres of woodland. It was bought by its present owner Rodney Nutter in 2003 hence the name “Nutters” restaurant! It was here that we had a wonderful time photographing Tara and Gary’s wedding day. It was a glorious day and the outside setting provided a perfect opportunity for photographs of the guests prior to the arrival of the bride. Tara arrived at the venue looking sensational in a wedding dress that befitted and reflected her beauty. The ceremony was a relaxed affair with lots of laughter and the odd tear. Afterwards we could take and create beautiful photographs as both families enjoyed wonderful setting prior to the wedding breakfast. Both of their children played parts in the wedding ceremony and the youngest, their son read an emotional best mans speech. There was not a dry eye in the house. After the speeches were read, the cake cut and the food eaten guests marvelled at the smooth running of the day mainly due to the professionalism of Nutter’s wonderful maitre de. After everyone had relaxed by either chatting round the tables inside or in Nutter’s grounds basking in the sunshine whilst the children ran round enjoying themselves, it was time for the evening celebrations. More guests arrived to share this special wedding occasion and it was time for us to record the evening celebrations. The first dance was an enjoyable affair with Tara and Gary in obvious ease with each others company. Afterwards young and old danced the night away until it was all too soon to bid farewell. With “can’t wait to see the photographs” ringing in our ears we left the happy couple to their married bliss.
