Italy is one of the most beautiful places in the world, and somewhere we love to photograph and film. From the incredible food (sure to satisfy your guests!) to the beautiful, historic architecture, beautiful weather, beaches, lakes, mountains and ancient monuments, it is truly a spectacular place to get married.
The York Place team travel all over the world photographing and filming weddings, as well as shooting street photography (Rome is a particular favourite spot!) and speaking at workshops and conferences. Wherever we are in the world though our aim as documentary style photographers and filmmakers is to blend in with your wedding party and capture the day from the inside. We aim to be warm and friendly but never the centre of attention, letting your guests get on with enjoying the celebrations without worrying about the camera.
And that approach is particularly important for destination weddings, where relaxation and fun really is the name of the game. A destination wedding is not just about a single day, for most it's a holiday - a real break for your guests from their everyday lives and that leaves everyone in a happy, carefree mood - perfect for capturing candid moments of real personality.
