Documentary Indian Wedding Photography by York Place Studios
It’s been a bit of a crazy time since our last foray onto the blog with not only some absolutely gorgeous weddings (more on those soon!) but our first international speaking engagement! Last week we were honoured to deliver the closing speech at the fantastic Keep It Real photography conference in Germany and humbled to be the sole international speakers, sharing our thoughts and ideas in front of 350+ (thankfully multilingual!) photographers in front of the huge screen of the art deco Delphi Filmpalast in central Berlin! Standing on that stage in such an amazing (and huge!) space and talking about our philosophies as documentary wedding photographers was an unbelievable experience and one we will always treasure. We met so many lovely people along the way that it’s impossible to mention them all but special thanks to Nils and Manuel for inviting us, all of our fellow speakers, everyone who worked so hard behind the scenes to make the event a success and to Juliana Socher for her amazing tour guiding, translation and for generally being such a great friend.
Now back to that blog post…
We shot Sandeep & Damian’s Indian wedding extravaganza back in August and have been so excited to share it with you all. Heads up in advance: it’s a long one, but with 3 days of shooting and some 5am starts and 3am finishes (and as one of our favourite weddings ever) we hope you’ll understand why we just HAD to share so many! So grab a cuppa, take your time and soak in all three days of the gorgeous wedding of the lovely Sandeep and Damian.
