Castle Howard Wedding Video

York is a city with so many fantastic wedding venues and we always love having the chance to create a Castle Howard Wedding Video. Fran and Neil’s stunning wedding at the majestic St Wilfrid’s Catholic Church followed by the fine grandeur of a reception at the beautiful Castle Howard oozed not only elegance but an enormous sense of fun at every step, emanating from the fantastic couple and making for an incredible wedding to film!

After a beautiful service at one of York’s finest Catholic churches just a stones throw away from York Minster, the guests were treated to a drinks reception in the sun, enclosed by the beautiful rose gardens of Castle Howard. In such a beautiful surrounding but one well hidden from the grand old house behind, their secret garden theme out in the glorious sunshine looked just perfect, and once all the guests had found the keys, hanging from a tree, that provided the clue to their seating plan, all of the guests enjoyed a delicious meal in the long gallery – a room that has entertained society’s elite for generations. Afterwards it was time for the speeches and one of the most hilarious best man speeches we’ve seen in a long time, with a video complete with guest star appearances from some of Neil’s Rugby heroes!

With dancing under the fabulous painted dome of the great hall followed by a raucous party downstairs and a little late-night croquet out on the lawn it was a fantastic evening and an incredible day, so here’s just a little taster of what happened on Fran and Neil’s special day…
