Papakata Wedding | Raywell
We love a Papakata Wedding and Emma and Andrew’s bohemian wedding was a feast for the eyes at every turn. We started the wedding day by splitting up and going in search of our Bride and Groom for some getting ready shots. Emma prepared for the day ahead at her family home in the quaint little town of Swanland and Andrew at the cutest little Yorkshire Wolds country cottage, hired for the day from Estate Escapes. The bride was accompanied by their two children (who were the most adorable kiddies we have ever met!) and the bride, flower girl and bridesmaid each had a beautiful floral garland in their hair that fitted this fantastic, relaxed and quirky wedding down to a T! The ceremony took place out in the fresh air just next to the Papakata Wedding teepee at The Granary in Raywell and there was the most fantastic and dramatic walk-way for our bride to travel down to meet her husband to be. As soon as we arrived we were blown away by the setting; rolling hills and vast open landscapes surrounded us and there was a unique sign made by the couple that marked the spot where our bride and groom would say their heartfelt and emotional vows to one another. After a huge cheer from the excited guests the party really began, with drinks outside the Papakata wedding teepee, emotional and humourous speeches and the most kickass dancing from every guest alike!
A huge thank you to Emma and Andrew for inviting us to their wedding, in their own words they wanted to avoid “cheesy and old fashioned” photos and it was a pleasure to be the ones they chose to document their special event. Thanks guys!
