Bolton Abbey Engagement Shoot | Skipton
We were so excited when we were asked to do a Bolton Abbey Engagement Shoot, it had been quite a few years since we had last visited this beautiful venue (last time we recall it was November and you couldn’t even see the stepping stones across the river the water was so high!) and it was even more amazing as we got to visit the venue only a week later for the wedding of our beautiful couple. Gillene and Nick are two of the most fun people we have ever had the pleasure of meeting and we immediately hit it off, in fact we felt like we were just hanging out with two old friends!
They love (as do we) singing, dancing, food, adventures, old computer games, Moomins (in fact any 80’s children TV) and they are both opera singers. We felt like we had struck gold with this pair and we all had a complete laugh hanging out, taking photographs, eating ice cream and prancing around like we all were in the Sound of Music. Gillene is also a fan of our wedding blog Bride Vs Groom so it was so lovely to hear her thoughts and that she was enjoying our little blog.
Thanks so much to Gillene & Nick for a day we will always remember, for braving the stepping stones(!) and for giving 100% to every crazy idea we came up with.
