Why analogue?
Because sometimes the medium is part of the story.
There's something about a photograph made on film that goes beyond the
way it looks.
The grain, the colour, the way light falls across the frame. The slight
unpredictability. The knowledge that every frame matters.
But we're not interested in film because it makes photographs look
nostalgic. We're interested in it because it suits the way we already
photograph.
We look for the moments between the moments. The expressions nobody
noticed. The chaos at the edge of the dancefloor. The quiet conversations
happening while everyone else is watching something else.
