A THANK YOU TO OUR COUPLES – THE WEDDING INDUSTRY AWARDS 2015
This last year has been incredible. We are currently making the final touches to our end of year round-up post and we are staggered by the journey we have been on both for ourselves and our couples. It has been a whirlwind of travel, emotion, excitement and laughter: undoubtedly one of the best years of our lives and we can’t wait to share the photographs very soon. First though we wanted to write a special post for all our amazing couples over the last 12 months.
Last year we won the North East TWIA Best Wedding Photographer award (which was amazing!) and this year we were proud to be nominated by one of our couples once again. There are so many incredible photographers working in the North East and we had no expectation about progressing any further in the competition but, incredibly flattered by the nomination we decided to enter once again. We were buried deep in editing when we found out we had won “Highly Commended” in the Best Wedding Photographer (North East) category and we were both surprised and thrilled at the honour. More humbling than the award itself though was the incredible feedback that all of our couples gave us in their nominations and we would like to thank you all (every single one of you voted!) for your unbelievably kind words and for inviting us to be a part of your amazing weddings in the first place. One of the best things about our job is knowing you have made a positive impact on someones life on a day that is so important to them and the messages that we received just mean the absolute world to us.

They were unobtrusive and moved around the room taking natural photos of our guests, which was exactly what we wanted. They worked on the images and delivered a teaser to us after a few weeks, followed by online access, plus a memory stick with all the photos within 6-8 weeks, which was amazing.
