2018 has already been a crazy year for us and, with extraordinary weddings scattered across Europe coming up every week until the end of September, it’s about to get a whole lot busier! Fortunately for us we can’t wait – so many stories to be told, so many characters to meet and so many spontaneous, unpredictable, insuppressible moments to capture. Whilst we’re busy looking forward to an exciting part of the year, we’ve also been looking back through all of our 2017 weddings and reliving some of our favourite adventures…
One of those adventures took place back in November when we photographed Chris and Arabella’s beautiful wedding at Lineham Farm near Leeds. The gorgeous couple actually found us not through weddings but through our street photography, specifically our Cuban collection, and it’s fair to say that their passion for the art form left us more than a little excited about bringing some of that street style photography to the wedding! We really wanted to showcase our couple’s adventurous side – something so much a part of their personalities and time together and so when we found out that the boys were going rock climbing in the morning and the girls heading out for an early morning walk we grabbed a chalk bag and jumped at the chance!
Back at the venue and with the day as fun, relaxed and free-spirited as we’d expect from the lovely Arabella & Chris, Lineham farm proved to be the perfect setting – a stunning 17th Century farmhouse set in 120 acres of outstanding natural beauty – the ideal space for kids and adults alike to run amok, have the time of their lives and present some excellent layering opportunities for us in the process!
